No longer will you have to be on your hands and knees digging into the back of the cabinet to find that can of beans. Everything will be easy to fin which will save you time while cooking and will save you money because you will not be making unnecessary duplicate buys. Pantry shelving also helps you to stay better organized which can save time as well.
Finally, homeowners should have a pantry cabinet in their kitchen so that food stays good longer. Food stores will last longer if they are kept in a cool, dry, and dark place. If you store your canned goods or dry foods on shelving in the garage there are several problems with that. First, the open shelving does not ensure a dry or dark place. Second, the wide temperature fluctuations outside will make the food spoil faster.
